About Kris Van Assche

Born in Belgium in 1976, Kris Van Assche graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design. Ever since he established his own brand in 2004, the designer’s creations have graced catwalks from Paris to Geneva. In addition to men’s and women’s fashion, Van Assche has also worked on several extra-curricular projects ranging from costume design for a dance company to installation artworks, an advertising campaign and several avant-garde art projects, often in collaboration with Europe’s foremost designers and artists. Kris Van Assche was appointed Artistic Director at Dior Homme in 2007.

Eastpak, the authentic urban lifestyle brand, is pleased to announce the launch of the Eastpak kris van assche collection: an out-of-the-box collaboration with celebrated fashion designer and Dior Homme Artistic Director, Kris Van Assche. The collection is a highly successful blend of Van Assche’s unique brand of sophistication and the unconventional simplicity of EASTPAK’s own philosophy. Visitors to the Paris Fashion Week were able to catch a glimpse of this exciting collab on the catwalk on 21 January 2011.
