 | Modo prijs voor beste ontwerp 2011 | | 01/11/2011 | | Tijdens een zonnig en succesvol modo parcours 2011 vond ook de uitreiking van de modo prijs voor beste ontwerp 2011 plaats. Zaterdagavond 29 oktober won de Brusselse ontwerper Jean Paul Lespagnard de 12e editie van de MODO prijs, een onderscheiding ter waarde van 7500 euros uitgereikt door Kathrine Jacobs, persattaché van Minister van Economie van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest Dhr. Benoît Cerexhe. Met de prijs voor Beste Ontwerp wil de Brusselse Minister van Economie de modesector promoten en financieel ondersteunen. Creativiteit, innovatie, imago, professionele en internationale kwaliteiten zijn de selectiecriteria waarop een jury, samengesteld uit journalisten en professionals uit de Belgische modesector, zich baseert.

During these 72 hours more than 60 designers gather across town and showcase their work. Installations are put together in harmony with the place they invest, adding some artistic flair to the proceedings. The designers' displays interact with other art forms, such as sculpture, photography, dance and acting.
