When Sabyasachi Mukherjee presents a collection it has to weave around the beauty of India and its textiles.  Therefore it was little wonder that his mix of urban and rural inspired creations titled “Neela aur Bagardandi ki Kahani” – which means “indigo and burgundy story” in English was the highlight of the first day at Lakme Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2009.
